So, I finally got all packed up for ARTCamp. I had stuff for altered books, stuff for sewing, stuff for knitting, I actually brought more stuff than my mother (which is somewhat of an accomplishment). I even brought some stuff to make a temari ball or two (ooh, new – to me – temari site my mom found for me!).

And I used almost none of it. I managed to help roll out the plastic to protect the carpet from our artistic fury before coming down with another cold. When the option was given to go home, I decline, because I would have rather been there at ARTCamp than at home, possibly getting my family sick, having to be mommy, not being able to take really good medication for my son’s sake. At ARTCamp, I was able to do nothing but sit and watch and talk with my friends, and do a few little projects when I was feeling okay (I did manage one temari ball). Gah, I had been waiting a year and a half for this, and was hoping to show some great pics of all the fabulous things I did.
